Located in the midst of Michigan's only remaining
stand of virgin cork white pine this beautiful
state park offers rest and vacationing pleasure to
the summer traveler. At Hartwick Pines State Park
is a fine museum containing exhibits of early
lumbering equipment. The AuSable and Manistee
Rivers are close by and many inland lakes in the
area provide fishing and swimming.
