Tuckerman Ravine in Pinkham Notch is a famous
ski center of the east. Expert skiers starting at
summit of Mt. Washington come over the Headwall
at the right and with zigzag course reach the floor
of the Ravine with breathtaking speed. The Head-
wall is approximately 1200 ft. high.
