Front:
Boy Scout Building at 22nd and Winters Sts.,
Philadelphia, houses the administration offices
of the Philadelphia Council of the Boy Scouts of
America. It was erected in 1929 by the Scouts
and their friends. Scout emblems and inscrip-
tions, including the Scout Oath and Law, are
carved in the exterior walls. The McKenzie Boy
Scout Statue stands in front of the building.
In front of the Headquarters of the Philadelphia
Council, of the Boy Scouts of America, 22nd and
Winter Sts., Philadelphia. The figure symbolizes
the type of young Americans in the ranks of
scouting and was sculptured by Dr. R. Tait
McKenzie.
