entrance to the harbor of Gloucester, Mass. A guide to
Gloucester Harbor, which is the famous port of New Eng-
land's greatest fishing fleet. Flashing red light every five
seconds. When obscured by fog or storm is supplemented
by a 4,000-pound ball struck by machinery, a double blow
every 20 seconds. Established 1882. Visible at sea 13 nau-
tical miles, 183.
