No less than 60,000 Boy Scouts and Wolf
Cubs from all parts of the Kingdom took
part in an extraordinary and enthusiastic
demonstration in the grounds of the Alexandra
Palace. H.R.H. the Prince of Wales, Chief Scout
of Wales, was present, as also was the founder of
this great movement, General Sir R. Baden Powell.
The Prince received a wonderful display of loyalty
and affection from the delighted boys.
