The Pali of Nuuanu near Honolulu is a
precipice which is celebrated in history by being
the battle field of Kamehameha who landed at
Waialae Bay near Honolulu and marched to
Nuuanu Valley where a celebrated chief Kal-
anikupule had posted his forces. From this
vista comprising the north end of Oahu with
its beautiful foliage and shore line. The
beautiful winding road that leads to the top of
the divide or Pali goes along side of dashing
cascades and through a fern olad valley.
