My Dear.
1910
At Grants Pass, Or., I saw 33 boxes of
Spitzenberg Apples which were grown
on one tree; also 40 boxes of Winter
Nelis pears from one tree.
They plant 75 apple trees per acre
and 100 pear trees per acre. Apples
bring about $2 per box and pears from
$2 to $5. GEE! How would you like five
acres in full bearing?
Write to W. B. SHERMAN, GRANTS
PASS, for literature, giving you full in-
formation. I will tell you more about it
when I see you.
Grants Pass is cer-
tainly a beautiful town. They have just
finished laying bithulithic paving and the
cluster lights look fine. I believe their
Main Street is the prettiest street on
the Pacific Coast. Hastily,
