The Inn is built on its own island and offers 160 rooms with color television. There are the
Cafe Shop, the Neptune Room restaurant, a fabulous five-story rooftop cocktail
lounge, banquet and meeting rooms. The glass-domed recreation area includes swimming
pool, putting green and saunas for year-round use. There is a heated outdoor pool and
outdoor and indoor tennis courts, also platform tennis. The island, also the site of Goat Is-
land Marina, is only two minutes from the Newport-Jamestown bridge and is con-
nected to downtown Newport by causeway.
