A suburb of Chicago, ten miles from the Wells St. Depot, on the Galena Div. C. & N. W. R. R.
This hotel has large rooms, en suite, elegantly furnished, and every appointment,
including cuisine, for the comfort of guests and boarders. It stands directly opposite
the depot, in a beautiful park of sixteen acres, with natural groves, artificial lakes,
shrubbery, walks, arbors, etc., etc.
It can be reached by cars in thirty minutes, and by carriage, on Lake Street,
in one hour from the center of the city. Frequent trains each way. Boarders,
especially families, from the city, will find it a most desirable home.
Pleasure parties and pic-nics can make arrangements to be supplied with anything
required. Terms reasonable. Horses and carriages can be kept. The best sheds and
stables in Cook County.
No pains will be spared to give entire satisfaction to patrons. The House has
been refitted throughout since the former lessee vacated. Information can be obtained
at No. 15 Methodist Church Block, corner Clark and Washington Streets, or at the
hotel.
