BOATING ON STOW LAKE, GOLDEN GATE
PARK.
At the foot of Strawberry Hill,
three hundred feet above tide, is
to be found the largest and most
picturesque lake in Golden Gate
Park. Serpentine in form, more
than one mile around, it is a
marvel of engineering skill. The
lake is large enough for boating,
and black and white swan and
other water fowl abound.
