CADDO PARISH COURT HOUSE, SHREVEPORT, LA. Set
in a live oak bordered square in the center of down-town
Shreveport, the Caddo Parish Court House houses all par-
ish departments, a jail and in the basement a parking
place for cars. Erected in 1926-28, it is one of the
finest examples of American monumental architecture in
the South.
