Dear Friend:
Much of my boyhood was spent on the farms
of my grandfather and father, and farm problems
are a major interest for me. I support keeping and
improving the present feed grains program, laws
to protect cattle feeders from unfair competition by
chain stores and packers, free trade in hides, REA,
easier farm credit. I do not think farm prices have
caused inflation, and I am for keeping them high.
