These are the patriots returning after the Boston
Tea Party on the night December 17, 1773.
Between 100 and 150 men participated; about 15
were dressed as Indians to disguise their identity.
342 chests of tea were dumped into Boston Harbor.
The tea ships were the Eleanor, the Beaver and the
Dartmouth. The painting is 9ยน x 15' - artist, Jose
