R.A.M.C. First Aid to the Wounded. Amid all the
horrors of the Great War, certain things shine out grandly
conspicuous. Of these, next to the unquenchable cheeri-
ness and undaunted bravery of the British soldier, nothing
is more marvellous and thankworthy than the splendid
organisation and equipment of the Red Cross Work, of
which the Royal Army Medical Corps has charge, assisted
