R.A.M.C. Behind the Firing Line. We have in the
picture the orderlies and stretcher-bearers of the Royal
Army Medical Corps removing the wounded from the
fighting zone after receiving first-aid, to be conveyed in the
Red Cross Ambulances to the Hospital, and from thence
by train to the Base or to the Hospital Ship for transport to
England. No note can set forth adequately the splendid
success achieved in this beneficent work.
