JIM STEWART
Born: Unknown Died: July 11, 1851
Jim Stewart, known as "English Jim" Stewart, committed vicious
robberies and murders in San Francisco. The First Vigilante
Committee tried and convicted him. 400 Vigilantes marched
him, with cannons booming and flags flying, to be hanged
from a derrick down the end of a long wharf.
