These are girl friends in a jungle village of east-
quatorial Africa. They are maidens of marriageable
ge, well bred according to local standards, sweet
empered, innocent and industrious. They tend the
oats, weed the gardens and enjoy comparative ease
nd freedom for a little while before they are married.
With marriage their life becomes crowded with every
ort of heavy toil, and they very soon change from
looming youth to worn-out age.
