FORT HILL
At Clemson College is the former home of John C.
Calhoun, a one-time vice-president of the United
States and one of the South's most outstanding
statesmen, and of Thomas G. Clemson, the man
whose bequest made Clemson College possible.
Fort Hill has been restored to its one-time glorious
stateliness and remains preserved in the center
of the campus.
