STOWE'S PILOT HOUSE RESTAURANT 27 Bayview Place West Haven, Conn. On the beach directly in front of this restaurant back in the years 1638 to 1730 the Quinnipiac Indians came here to fish and make arrowheads. In 1781, three British vessels landed 150 men.
