The colorful Quechan Yuma Indian Band has become a very popular musical unit. The marching band entertains in many state & county fairs, also in the various Indian Pow=wows - Flagstaff, Window Rock, Gallup & many others. Their performance in the Big Western Parade previous to the Silver Spur Rodeo is always enjoyed by young & old alike. The entire 35-piece band are all Yuma Indians. The Quechan Yuma Indians live along the lower Colorado River on a 60,000 acre reservation. Curitech |
