Additional Details:
Wilder Hall (Physical Laboratory) was erected in 1899 from funds given by Mr. Chas. T. Wilder for the department of physics. Richardson Hall, a dormitory building accomodating 56 students, was named for the Hon. James B. Richardson in recognition of the fact that he was the first trustee nominated under the present system of alumni representation. Rollins Chapel, used exclusively for religious purposes, was dedicated in 1885; it was the gift of the Hon. Edward Ashton Rollins of Philadelphia, of the class of 1851, in memory of his father, his mother and his wife.
