CHAPEL UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA.
The chapel is a handsome edifice in the Gothic style of
standing west of the Rotunda. The corner stone
architecture,
was laid in 1885, and the building dedicated in 1889. The
cost was about $30,000, the greater part of which was defrayed
by the Alumni. The Chapel contains several beautiful memorial
windows and tablets.
