Additional Details:
The U.S. Barracks at Key West, on U.S. Reservation, in the eastern part of the city, are noted for the beautiful cocoanut palm walk on the north side of the parade. The trees are from 25 to 30 feet high, and are from eight to ten years old. The first building of the Barracks, the Guard House, was erected in 1832.
