This Park has a Zoological Garden, swim-
ming pool accommodating 1,500 bathers, arti-
ficial lake for ice skating, tennis courts, base-
ball diamonds, a natural amphitheatre or
stadium-capacity 150,000 people, and picnic
grounds. One of the chief attractions is the
bird house completed in 1951. This is a fine
example of the modern method of providing
comfortable surroundings for wild life in cap-
tivity.
