These two high schools are typical of Fort
Worth's excellent education facilities. Amon
G. Carter High was constructed at a cost of
$450,000. Polytechnic High School was re-
cently completed at a cost of $675,00. In ad-
dition to numerous classrooms, it includes an
auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, and office,
and together with the athletic field, covers 19
acres.
