Additional Details:
A Buzzards Bay, Mass. landmark dedicated to all tugmen. The No. 16 was in service from 1924 to 1968 operating for the New York Central Railroad in New York Harbor. Rescued in 1982 from a tugboat graveyard on Staten Island, she was floated, patched and towed to Boston for restoration. Upon completion the tug was brought to Buzzards Bay through the Cape Cod Canal by tug and barge. She was then lifted from the canal and moved one mile over to her final berth next to Grandma's Restaurant on the Bourne Bridge approach in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts.
