Sarasota High School is located on the famous Tamiami Trail south of the city and accommodates between eleven and twelve hundred students each year. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. In addition to the regular academic curriculum, the High School offers courses in Vocational Agriculture, Vocational Home Economics, Trade and Industrial Educa- tion and Manual Training Shops.
