The Liberty Bridge

| The Liberty Bridge across Main Street in Rochester was constructed as a community enterprise to promote the 5th War Loan. Everyone took part. All the material was contributed. The Allied Building Trades provided the labor without cost. On this bridge is an exact replica of the famous Liberty Bell. Rochester's own slogan for the 5th War Loan is "Keep It Ringing". Today I bought a bond and rang the Liberty Bell in your honor. |
