Boston's famous Old North Church, built in 1723,
and celebrated in history because from its belfry
the night of “the eighteenth of April in '75,"
two signal lanterns were flashed, starting Paul
Revere on his swift ride “through every Middlesex
village and farm” to warn of the coming of the
British.
