CARNIVAL AT MALECON PROMENADE
This Carnival with its masquerades, balls, parades,
etc. continues for three days and on four or five
Sundays following. This occurs during the Tourist
Season and the dates are changeable, The Prado,
Maceo, Infanta and Bolivar Avenues are then throng-
ed with carnival crowds throwing serpentines, con-
fetti, flowers, etc. The gaiety and bustle of the auto-
mobile parade with masked people is fascinating.
