Gushing from the base of the mountain, forty-
six hot springs pour forth their miraculous, un-
ceasing flow of 900,000 gallons daily. Along the.
base of this mountain, fronting a beautiful mag-
nolia promenade are ten splendid establishments
composing the world-famous "Bath House Row."
The hot water is supplied to the bath houses, the
receipts from this source being deposited in the
U. S. Treasury.
