The Carroll Library was erected in 1903, gift
of Mr. F. L. Carroll of Waco, Baylor trustee,
The building cost $75,000. Originally it con-
tained a chapel, but after a fire in 1922, the
building was reconstructed solely as a library. In
addition to the general library, it contains the
world-famous Browning Collection.
