Trinity Church occupies a commanding site in Copley
Square, is the home of the third Episcopal organization in
Boston, which was founded in 1728. A remarkable statue of
the celebrated Phillips Brooks, who was Rector of Trinity from
1869 to 1891, stands on the Huntington Avenue side of the
edifice.
