Grant Park - 144 acres - was named for Colonel L. P. Grant, the Confederate officer. The Park is not only interesting for its collection of wild animals of every species and its recreational facilities, but for its historic associations as well. Here are breastworks thrown up by opposing armies during the Battle of Atlanta and the "must see" famous Cyclorama.
