This is not Westport, MA. The Black Rocks are at Salisbury Beach, MA, a few miles south of the NH border, at the mouth of the Merrimack River. The Steamer Merrimac carried passengers on outings from Haverhill to the Black Rocks & Plum Island (on the south bank of the river, visible on postcard) between 1892-1912.
