The PRINCESS MARY RESTAURANT VESSEL, now noted
for her world famous food, played an important part in British
Columbia's history. Built in 1910 in Scotland, this sturdy
vessel plied the Pacific coastal waters for over 40 years. She
was often the only link between island villages, lonely towns
and the outside world. Retired in 1952, you can still sense the
part she played in the life of the people of this province.
