Wildwood Crest is at the southern end of
the island on which the city of Wildwood is
located. This island is just off the coast at
the southern point of New Jersey. It is con.
nected with the mainland by two bridges.
A boardwalk runs the length of the beach.
Bathing, motor boating, and sail boating, golf
and tennis are popular. The fishing piers
and fishing excursion boats alford opportuni-
ties for some splendid sport. The island is
especially noted for its gentle sloping beach
and safe bathing.
