SOUTH ROTUNDA AND TIFFANY DOME
This dome, in the south rotunda of the State street building, is constructed
of Tiffany favrile glass and is believed to be the largest piece of glass mo-
saic in the world. It also has the distinction of being the first dome ever
built of iridescent glass. On September 30, 1907, it was unveiled to the
public. A position on the third or fifth floor presents an admirable view.
