In this area are located ticket counters, waiting
areas, shops, and dining facilities. The idea of
combining all of these facilities in one large un-
obstructed space is original in terminal design and
has resulted in calling this facility the "Grand
Central of the Air." The area measures 120 feet
wide by 412 feet long and is completely free of
columns and partitions.
