Statue of Reverend Michael J. McGivney, Founder P21486
of the Knights of Columbus, at McGivney Plaz a
junction of Grand and Meadow Streets, Waterbury,
Connecticut. Father McGivney was born in Water-
bury on August 12, 1852, and this statue of him
was erected by the Supreme Council of the Knights
of Columbus on March 31, 1957, to commemorate
the 75th Anniversary of his founding of the Knights
of Columbus.
