Gladstone Boulevard is one of the
links connecting with Kansas City's
famous Cliff Drive. Other boulevards in
this district are Admiral, Benton, Inde-
pendence, Maple, Prospect, and Waldron
Boulevard. They are all connected with
each other and form part of the un-
broken chain of the city's fifty miles of
oiled macadam boulevards. The park
and boulevard system of Kansas City
comprises about 2,600 acres. The ex-
pense of maintaining the system is ap-
proximately $110,000 per year.
