Arrival of Royal Mail Steamer, Dominica. The
arrival of the mail boat is always the signal for scenes of
great excitement. News from "home" is eagerly sought by
all the English and European residents, who depend mainly
upon the mail's arrival for their English and "home
letters, papers, and news. The draught of water at the
quays will not permit the near approach of the vessels,
which unload the mails and passengers into boats.
