Kynance Cove. A cliff-bound bay on the south Cornish
coast between Rill Head and Tor Balk (or "Tar Box").
A noticeable feature of the bay- one of the most pictur-
esque in Cornwall-is the number of small rocky islets
which even at high tide show their heads above water-
notably the Gull Rock and Asparagus Island. The cliffs
abound in caves, among which are the "Parlour" and the
Drawing Room" in the cliffs facing Asparagus Island.
