THE NEW CITY-COUNTY BUILDING

Located at Woodward and Jefferson Avenues, this
majestic-looking building is the second unit of the
city's Civic Center being constructed along the De-
troit River. Completed early in 1955 at a cost of
$28,000,000, the tower section is twenty stories high.
