The south entrance and interchange system shown
here carries the thousands of cars daily which
cross high above the large ships entering the
Port of Corpus Christi, the nation's 9th largest
seaport. The bridge has an overall width of 87
feet, pedestrian walks on either side, and a 4
foot median strip separating the opposing high
speed lanes of traffic.
