One of the best preserved ante-bellum Mansions.
House, grounds and furnishings are practically un-
changed since the forties. Suspended over the dining
table is a relic of yesteryear, a Punkah. In slave
days even after the Civil War, these fans were
propelled to and fro by servants during the serving
of meals. Built 1845.
