Rock Springs is the great coal mining cen-
ter of western Wyoming. Situated on the
Union Pacific R. R. where Highway U. S. 30,
East to West intersects with U. S. 187 North
to Pinedale, Jackson Hole, and Yellowstone.
It is also the largest city of south western
Wyoming.
