At Bourbon and Toulose Streets is this
building, it was erected in 1859, designs
were made by James Gallier, many of the
world's famous singers have been heard
there. Comus, Momus, and several other
Mardi Gras balls are held there also, the war
prevents troupes from coming and it was
purchased by an anonymous benefactor and
presented to Tulane University.
