THE ADDRESS TO BE MYBITTEN ON THIS, & DE
MARKET STREET is one of the city's busiest retail tho-
roughfares. It has been repaved and all old structures torn
down, giving place to handsome stores and offices. At the
end of Market Street a bridge spans the Susquehanna River.
The ornamental entrance is composed of the decorative pillars
taken from the old Capitol building destroyed by fire in 1897.
