SOLDIERS MONUMENT. The Dauphin County Soldiers
Monument is a tribute erected to the memory of the soldiers
who fought in the Civil War. It is a plain and lofty shaft,
110 feet in height, and stands in Harris Park, the handsome
public square of Harrisburg.
